Meet Jessica: Modeling gets Moody
Ever dream of being a professional model? Striking that picture perfect pose is truly an art. It takes a pro team of a solid wardrobe stylists, a skilled photographer, and of course, the ultimate hair and makeup artists. We had the pleasure of working with Jessica, as she is following her dreams, pursuing a career with Modelogic. We wanted to offer three distinct looks for her agent, as well as update her portfolio.
Look #1: Pretty Powerful. Starting off the shoot with a strong masculine mood, and clean contoured canvas, I used airbrush makeup and LORAC PRO Contour palette as my main base. Her brows are to die for and needed just some simple BrowDefiner (Anastasia) and clear brow gel from to tame. My go to Better than Sex mascara thickens and lengthens those feminine lashes. NYX natural lipliner fills in her entire lips to give a natural, flushed, matte finish.
Look #2: Plum Revenge. I wanted Jessica's gorgeous green eyes to pop. With the help of the wardrobe team, we conjured up this frosty plum look with an edgy hair style, designed by the talented Natty Jackson of Elle Style Studio. Making a few appearances in this act are my go to MAC eyeshadows, Naked Lunch (lid), Quarry (crease, bottom eyeliner), and Sketch (outer corner). The perfect plum pairing with a smokey flare. Speaking of flare, three lengths of individual lashes enhance her lids, creating a sultry cat eye effect. NYX Mauve lipliner and gloss are the finishing touch.
Look #3: Black Widow. A black, lacey wardrobe change, vampy lip and untamed mane is Jess's final shoot. A simple quick lip change for makeup, MAC Burgundy lipliner and NYX Vamp Stick in Covet deepen the look.
